Lets be honest -- motherhood isn't fancy. In between endless diaper changes, sleepless nights and crafts-gone-wrong, we all long for a reminder of how magical motherhood can be.
You Made Me a Mother, the new heartwarming picture book by Laurenne Sala, is that reminder.
Back in 2014, the idea of You Made Me a Mother began as a poem that Boba baby carriers ended up using in one of their videos. After 40,000 shares on Facebook in just one week, Laurenne Sala realized, as the Huffington Post described it, the video “put the emotional truth of motherhood into words” and she knew she had to turn this poem into a book to tell children how important they are and to remind mothers why they fell in love with them in the first place.
Hitting shelves Tuesday, March 8th, You Made Me a Mother features super cute illustrations by Robin Preiss Glasser of Fancy Nancy fame and remains true to the original Boba video, while continuing to make moms feel an immediate sense of love.
This week we're partnering with Laurenne Sala and Boba baby carriers to give one lucky reader a Holli Zollinger 4G carrier (sells for $128) and two copies of the You Made Me a Mother book (retails at $15.99 each), because you’ll want to share one with a friend for sure!
